Topps NCAA March Madness Basketball Cards Showcase Standout Athletes

Topps, the renowned trading card company, has teamed up with the NCAA to launch an exciting inaugural March Madness Basketball Card Series. This special collection includes packs of eight cards priced at $139.99 each, offering collectors the chance to snag a coveted autograph card from a lineup of standout players.

Among the featured athletes are the men’s Player of the Year, Zach Edey from Purdue, and the women’s Player of the Year, Caitlin Clark. Each pack guarantees an autographed card along with six base cards and one parallel card numbered to 99 or fewer. Fans can purchase these exclusive packs on Topps’ official website until Thursday, with a lucky one out of every ten packs containing dual autograph cards.

The series showcases a select group of 20 notable college basketball stars who have agreed to be part of the Bowman U NOW March Madness collection. For the men’s category, players like Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham from Kentucky, Tristen Newton and Stephon Castle from UConn, and Kyle Filipowski from Duke are featured. On the women’s side, players such as Cameron Brink from Stanford, Aaliyah Edwards from UConn, and Paige Bueckers, also from UConn, grace the cards.

In addition to individual player cards, the series presents exciting dual autographs featuring popular pairings like Clark/Edey, Clark/Reese, Reese/Van Lith, and Sheppard/Dillingham. Notably, the inclusion of Caitlin Clark in the card lineup is limited until April 1, as she prepares to embark on an exclusive trading card agreement with Panini America.

By collaborating with the NCAA, Topps integrates the iconic March Madness logo and branding into their collectibles, setting the stage for future joint projects. The partnership opens up opportunities to celebrate college basketball talents and create unique experiences for collectors. Over 120 Bowman U cards have been released this season through the Topps NOW platform, showcasing the depth and diversity of college sports stars.

Caitlin Clark, in particular, has been a standout figure, featuring on 13 different cards throughout the season—the highest among all college athletes. The inclusion of college players in the traditional Topps Bowman University line for the past two years has further enriched the collector experience, capturing the essence and vibrancy of college basketball.

With the Topps NCAA March Madness Basketball Card Series, fans and collectors alike can celebrate the achievements and talents of their favorite college basketball players. This exclusive collaboration brings together the excitement of March Madness with the thrill of collecting unique and autographed cards, offering a special memento for basketball enthusiasts and collectors.
