Fanatics Collect Introduces New Buy Now Marketplace

Fanatics Collect, the renowned platform for sports memorabilia and collectibles, has unveiled its latest innovation – the Buy Now marketplace. This new marketplace brings with it a game-changing fee structure, designed to empower sellers to maximize their earnings like never before.

One of the most significant updates in the fee structure is the introduction of a flat 6% fee for listings sold for less than $120. This rate is among the lowest in the industry, replacing the previous 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission fees. With this change, sellers stand to benefit significantly, with the potential to earn up to 94% of the listing price on sales under $119.99, a substantial increase from the previous maximum of 85%.

The transition to the new fee structure is seamless for sellers, as all existing listings will automatically switch to the revised fees. This eliminates the need for sellers to make price adjustments and ensures that they can start reaping the rewards of the improved fee structure right away.

The revamped Buy Now marketplace goes beyond just fee changes; it has been redesigned to enhance the overall experience for both buyers and sellers. The platform now offers better discoverability of cards, reduces listing times, and simplifies fees, all based on valuable feedback from collectors and sellers. By removing the 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission, the marketplace encourages sellers to set more competitive prices, resulting in a wider range of options for buyers to choose from.

To maintain fairness and competitiveness within the marketplace, listings that are priced more than 20% above fair market value will incur a 15% seller’s fee, rather than the standard 6%. Moreover, the minimum fee for Buy Now sales has been eliminated, allowing sellers to list items for as little as 50 cents, expanding opportunities for sellers of all sizes.

In addition to the improved fee structure, the new Buy Now marketplace also streamlines transactions. When collectors make purchases through the Fanatics Collect app, they pay immediately, enabling sellers to receive their payments quickly and buyers to add to their collections without delay.

For sellers who may not wish to continue under the new fee structure, the option to delist their items is always available. Support is readily accessible through their sales representative or the Collector Experience team, ensuring a smooth transition for all users.

The introduction of the Buy Now marketplace marks a significant step in the Fanatics Collect launch, with a focus on enhancing the overall buying and selling experience for collectors. Discover the new marketplace today and leverage the simplified fees to maximize your earnings on every sale!
